Cricket needs an urgent “wake up call” as match-fixing allegations threaten the long-term future of the game, former South Africa captain Clive Rice said on Thursday. In an interview with SNTV at his home in Johannesburg, Rice said cricket’s shattered image could now affect its ability to make money from sponsorship.
